Singer Beyoncé Knowles is interested in play Wonder Woman on the silver screen and has met with representatives at DC Comics and Warner Bros. to discuss donning the red, white and blue bathing suit on screen, she says.

"After doing these roles that were so emotional I was thinking to myself, 'OK, I need to be a superhero,'" Beyoncé tells the Times. "Although, when you think about the psychology of the heroes in the films these days, they are still a lot of work, of course, and emotional. But there's also an action element that I would enjoy."

My opinion? I think she'd be great for the role, but there are folks out there who would openly criticize the fact that Beyoncé is African-American, similar to the backlash against Jessica Alba (who is Mexican-American) when she was first reported to have taken the role as Invisible Girl in the Fantastic Four movies. Hopefully people can look past this, if she is in fact chosen.

Just checked Stan Lee's Myspace, and found this post for a really good cause..

Hey Heroes,

We’ve figured out a great way to raise money for a charitable cause where you not only help the cause but you also get something in return. POW! Junko needs to raise $6,500 dollars by the new extended deadline, October 15th and with your help, we can do it! We’re giving away, that’s right – giving away official authentic, studio movie posters; the real ones direct from the studios, the same ones that they use in promoting their movies! You can check out some of the posters below. (*WE JUST GOT NEW IRON MAN POSTERS.*)

So here's how it works, if you donate a minimum of $50 you can receive one movie poster. If you donate a minimum of $100 not only will you get a poster but it will be signed by me, your man Stan. Down these mean streets a man must come. A hero born, murdered, and born again. When a Rookie cop named Denny Colt returns from the beyond as The Spirit, a hero whose mission is to fight against the bad forces from the shadows of Central City. The Octopus who kills anyone unfortunate enough to see his face who has other plans. He's going to wipe out the entire city. The Spirit tracks this cold hearted killer from the city's rundown warehouses, to the damp catacombs, to the windswept waterfront all the while facing a bevy of beautiful women who either want to seduce, love or kill the masked crusader.

IGN posted a video few days ago with Frank Miller speaking on the movie, and some behind the scenes shots, which you can see after the break. The Spirit, starring Gabriel Macht, Samuel L. Jackson, Scarlett Johansson & Eva Mendes is scheduled for release on Christmas Day, 2008.

Heavy Rain: The Origami Killer is an upcoming video game, developed by French studio Quantic Dream for the PS3. The game is being directed by Quantic Dream's founder and CEO David Cage. The game is scheduled to be released in 2009. Recently the upcoming game was demoed at the Micromania Games Show 2008 in Paris. Looks awesome to say the least, and I've personally waited a long time for this game and it looks well worth it!

Gamekyo recorded over 20 minutes of the demonstration, which you can watch right after the break. Here's what David Cage, who demonstrated the game, had to say:

In this demo, the player takes the role of a young journalist who is investigating on several girls' disappearances, she goes to a house of a taxidermist who is suspected of killing these women. In this presentation, the Producer of the game shows 2 different ways to finish this demo, there are lots of different ways to get through the story.

It seems Capcom has this new contest, where you can draw and submit your SFIV artwork and if it's picked as the winner, it'll appear on the inside cover of the game! Check it out here.
