YouTube user WormyT has created a full trailer for a live-action "Thundercats" movie by compiling scenes from various films featuring Brad Pitt, Hugh Jackman and Vin Diesel among others. Looks really good, gotta love fanfilms right? I put this one up to Batman:Dead End in terms of quality and editing.



Also, the new Dragonball trailer leaked.. I'm only wondering how this will turn out. Seriously. I am not liking this at all, and once you watch you'll understand why.

Warner Bros has released yet another new trailer for The Dark Knight, on a cross promotional website created by Dominos Pizza.

Directed by Louis Leterrier, The Incredible Hulk stars Edward Norton as Bruce Banner, Liv Tyler as Betty Ross, William Hurt as her father General Thaddeus Ross and Tim Roth as the villainous Emil Blonsky. The film follows Banner as he flees the pursuit of General Ross and attempts a cure to rid himself of the Hulk. But when Blonsky injects himself with Banner's gamma formula and becomes an even greater monster, Banner must accept his own inner beast and defeat Blonsky.

The Incredible Hulk is set for release on June 13, 2008.

Wanted is set to be released June 27, 2008.

It took them a week to finally make it happen, but tonight (or I guess last night by the time I run this) the long-promised new Iron Man trailer finally debuted in front of Lost. If you liked it, then hold on to your butts because there’s an even better version of the trailer here.

Paramount has released an extended version of the Iron Man trailer which played in the middle of Lost. It’s the same thing, but with thirty seconds or so of extra footage mixed in. And, like every single thing we’ve seen from Iron Man… it rocks.

The movie opens May 2nd. Watch the extended Lost trailer:

New Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull Trailer!



In 1957, Indiana Jones is thrust back in action, venturing into the jungles of South America in a race against Soviet agents to find the mystical Crystal Skull. Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull will be in theaters May 22, 2008.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars Trailer!

The 3-D animated movie will take an in-depth look at the space between Episode II and III, first referenced by Obi-Wan in A New Hope. Star Wars: The Clone Wars will also have an accompanying series on Cartoon Network which will launch shortly after the movie's August 15th release date. You can watch the teaser trailer here.


Fox Sues Warner Bros. Over Watchmen

20th Century Fox has initiated a legal battle against Warner Bros. over the rights to develop, produce and distribute a film based on the graphic novel Watchmen, says The Hollywood Reporter.

On Friday, the studio sued Warner Bros., claiming it holds the exclusive copyrights and contract rights to Watchmen.

Warner Bros. plans to release on March 6, 2009 a big-screen version of the popular graphic novel written by Alan Moore and illustrated by Dave Gibbons. The film is directed by Zack Snyder (300) and stars Patrick Wilson, Jackie Earle Haley, Matthew Goode, Billy Crudup, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Malin Akerman, Carla Gugino, Stephen McHattie and Matt Frewer.

The trade says Fox seeks to enjoin Warner Bros. from going forward with the project, saying in the lawsuit that it seeks to "restrain (Warner Bros. Pictures) from taking actions that violate Fox's copyrights and which stand to forever impair Fox's rights to control the distribution and development of this unique work."

Fox claims that between 1986 and 1990, it acquired all movie rights to the 12-issue DC Comics series and screenplays by Charles McKeown and Sam Hamm. In 1991, Fox assigned some rights via a quitclaim to Largo International with the understanding that the studio held exclusive rights to distribute the first motion picture based on Watchmen, according to the lawsuit.

When Largo dismantled, the rights were transferred to producer Lawrence Gordon. Under a "turnaround agreement" between Fox and Gordon, the producer agreed to pay a buy-out price to Fox if he entered into any agreement with another studio or third party to develop or produce Watchmen, among other things.

Now, Fox claims that neither Gordon nor Warner Bros. has paid the buy-out price or advised the studio of any other conditions required under the agreement, including procedures necessary to acquire the rights to Watchmen from Fox.

Heroes Renewed for 2008-09 Season

Now that the writers strike is over, ComingSoon.net says that NBC has renewed "Heroes" for the 2008-09 season, but it looks like you won't see the show again until the fall.

NBC's Co-Chairman Ben Silverman said, "Additionally, we will be saving and re-launching our #1 drama and most successful franchise, 'Heroes,' so that it will run in all original episodes in the fourth quarter."

Shia LaBeouf on Transformers 2

Empire magazine talked to Transformers 2 star Shia LaBeouf, who says he has seen a lot for the sequel already and knows that there will be new robots on both sides of the battle. Here's a clip:

"I know of a few things I have to work on for the next one," said LaBeouf. "I've seen pre-vizes of the action scenes and I just saw Michael yesterday. It's going to be bad-ass. We're not making another one unless it is, and Mike is definitely not resting on his laurels — he's doing insane sh*t again. And the pre-vizes that I've seen… it's just massive."

Marvel Studios has released this new photo from the Jon Favreau-directed Iron Man, coming to theaters on May 2. The comic book adaptation stars Robert Downey Jr., Terrence Howard, Gwyneth Paltrow, Jeff Bridges.

The movie tells the story of Tony Stark (Downey Jr.), a billionaire industrialist and genius inventor who is kidnapped and forced to build a devastating weapon. Instead, using his intelligence and ingenuity, Tony builds a high-tech suit of armor and escapes captivity. Upon his return to America, Tony must come to terms with his past. When he uncovers a nefarious plot with global implications, he dons his powerful armor and vows to protect the world as Iron Man. Watch the trailer after the break!

In other news... Publisher Atlus (Gulity Gear series, Odin Sphere, Trauma Center) will be releasing Arcana Hearts, an all girl fighter for the PS2 in North America on April 8 at for a retail price of $29.99.

I'm not sure if you folks have heard about this but Marvel.com has branched off a For Kids Only version of their site. It's not really anything great to speak of.. BUT they have contracted the CGI animation team from the Marvel Ultimate Alliance game to produce shorts just for that site. So you get a 3-part mini-movie every month featuring one particular character and a few guest stars...

Wanted is a 2008 film loosely based on the comic book miniseries Wanted by Mark Millar. The film is directed by Timur Bekmambetov and stars James McAvoy, Morgan Freeman and Angelina Jolie. The movie is in post-production, and has a target release date of June 27, 2008.

Hancock is an upcoming comedy superhero film directed by Peter Berg and starring Will Smith, Jason Bateman and Charlize Theron.

Justice League: The New Frontier, rated PG-13 for violent content/images, is scheduled for release on February 26, 2008. The next release in the series will be Batman: Gotham Knight.

Batman becomes more of a detective in The Dark Knight, as he deals with the escalation of the situation from the end of Batman Begins as personified by the Joker, portrayed by Heath Ledger. He also deals with the dilemma of his vigilante crusade, and his friendship with district attorney Harvey Dent, played by Aaron Eckhart.

An animated direct-to-DVD anthology titled Batman: Gotham Knight, which takes place between Batman Begins and The Dark Knight, will be in stores early July 2008. Batman: The Dark Knight will be released on July 18, 2008 in the U.S. and on July 25, 2008 in the U.K.
